Event:        Sanford Museum’s 50th Anniversary Party

The golden anniversary of the Sanford Museum will be celebrated from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10 with an open house and party at the museum grounds at Fort Mellon Park on Sanford’s First Street. There will be fun activities for all including antique fire and police vehicles, local authors, live music by Florida folksinger/songwriter Doug Spears, the Possum Pickers, a Swedish Heritage display, Weird Florida author Charlie Carlson’s Museum of the Strange & Unusual, and a Seminole War-era encampment.
